3D Printed Prototype with Heat-Stake Inserts Added

Manufactured by Integrated Molding Solutions FDM 3D printing and parts assembly services. These plastic prototypes were 3D printed with a FDM PLA material, and threaded inserts were added post-production by heat staking. This project highlights IMS’s plastic part design and prototyping capabilities, assisting through the manufacturing process, before tooling and injection molding manufacturing.
